Jessica's first car--she bought it by herself with her own credit! It is a Mazda 3 which is suppose to be one of the safest compact cars out there. Gets great gas mileage too. Well, now MamaO can ride "shot-gun" with her and be on the road again.
Speaking of MamaO, Jessica had an interesting experience a couple of weeks ago--shortly after Sandra went by and talked to MamaO about moving her to Little Rock. Sandra visited her grave for the first time in 2 years around her death date and came home and called me saying MamaO had asked her to move her to Little Rock. This is a running joke because MamaO was the EverReady Bunny when it came to moving. Well back to Jessica--She was sitting with a dying man, trying to soothe him and keep him calm since he had no family with him. The man was in and out like MamaO was. He began talking to someone over her shoulder like MamaO talked to Uncle Ray the night of the last big stroke. He was smiling and saying "it's so pretty there", and then he said "yes she is sweet". Jessica ask him if he was talking to her and he said no Opal, Opal Harvey. Jessica then got freaked and said what did you just say, and he replied "Opal Harvey", and again "she is so sweet". Well it freaked Jess out and she came home and called me crying. She had had a real ruff night with a 360 pound man kicking her and hitting her and spitting in the nurses face and it was like MamaO was letting her know she was there with her.
Well MamaO you always wanted a new car--so happy trails riding with Jess. And Sandra we don't have to move her because she has found a set of wheels to carry her whereever!!
